Miranda you’re pretty great minus that whole wanting to put a chip in Shep’s brain thing.
Found a thing I’d forgotten I drew in the back of a sketchbook sometime earlier this year. I headcanon Honora’s the taller one of the two.
I forget what I was thinking would happen at the time that would cause the need for some kind of faceoff between them but let’s assume it’s bad.
Tiny sketchlet of Honora, because the closer to DAIII we get the more I kind of worry about where my little mageling princess is going to end up. I don’t get so concerned about most of the rest of the bunch.
Florence is well, herself. Fand has magic and shiny new confidence and an Antivan Crow and Rosie’s going to go be a pirate with her favorite lady and broody elf. But Honora’s all noble apostate who didn’t murderknife her possessed boyfriend so at this point I cannot say I feel confident in what’s happened to her.
I also feel that mage Hawkes that run off with Anders can potentially run the risk of supplanting him as the face of the mage rebellion by one parts Varric’s storytelling and another parts said Hawke’s personality and capabilities.
Being Champion was never her favorite thing so naturally my brain likes to think she’d end up inevitably the one other mages look to so cue all the conflicted feelings of ‘I never wanted to run this show’ vs. ‘What else can I do I’m probably the least screwed up with the most experience in survival out here’.
Toying with some watermark ideas because you’re all a bunch of bastards bad influences enablers.
I initially thought a Maker type sun might go in each because hey Chantry authoritaaaahh but now I think I’ll take it out except for the Orlesian Circles. Kinloch gets a very simple one because the bulk of the other dog watermarks I’ve seen are English and really simple. Most of the others likely will be around that level of complexity too, since watermarks are just teeny pieces of wire wrapped around portions of the frame. I’m at a loss for some of them like Ansburg, I admit, and Cumberland. Nevarra’s getting a dragon somehow, and I’m still waffling on Starkhaven.
If anybody out there with a copy of World of Thedas wants to give me some of the juicy tidbits regarding the places we don’t know a ton about (basically the Free Marches) that would be fabulous.
As for the Anderfels, theirs will probably also keep some allusion to the Chantry, but also the Grey Wardens, since those two groups effectively run the whole place. I figured since the First Warden’s held in higher esteem than the king it’s likely the Circle would have some reference to the order in their watermark.
Trying to work myself back up to commission fighting form now that the semester is almost done with some Shepards.
Some shirtless sketches to better show how the girls differ from each other. Of them Artie’s the one with the most cleavage and she is also clearly having none of this shit. Fand’s got something of a runner’s build? I blame all those stairs in Kinloch Hold.
Also as a bonus the real reason Florence doesn’t show up with Alistair in DAII; cornering Champion Honora and telling her every embarassing story about Anders she knows. And off to the side Anders and Justice are both facepalming and going “Commander… Commander NO.”
Meanwhile she keeps on rolling with “SO has he told you about the time we went to these creepy woods and he wanted someone to go with him whenever it was time to do his business in the bushes? Or when he speculated on whether or not Andraste had magnificent cleavage?”
